From the Lexington Minuteman:  December 15, 2011

I am proud to support Jessie Steigerwald in her reelection campaign for School Committee. Three years ago, Jessie led a campaign espousing her commitment to the “ABCs” – Accountability, Building Community and Creative Problem Solving.  Jessie has been true to her ABCs on the School Committee.

It is easy to find examples from her record:

A)  Accountable to the community by answering citizen questions, raising their concerns and holding the superintendent accountable in a constructive and respectful manner.

B) Building Community by insisting that residents’ voices be heard at meetings.

C) Creative Problem Solving through developing and supporting inexpensive and comprehensive training for Site-Council representatives to maximize community engagement in the annual School Improvement Plan process.
